Does anyone know how to send a letter that was saved as an action via e-mail attachment? I know if you click on the letter, you can change word to e-mail format, then the letter becomes the body of the e-mail, but we would like it as an attachment. I am guessing the letter is housed on the server somewhere, but the only place we can find it is in our temp files. We are leery of using temp files because what if we choose the wrong one? What we did do, is save the letter as a document in our shared drive. But we are wondering if there is a short cut somewhere.

I don't think this is exactly what you are looking for, but it maybe helpful. If you open the word document from within the action record, you can select Send To Mail Recipient (as attachment) from the File drop-down menu in word. This will create an email with the document as an attachment, but you'll have to take a few more steps, adding email address and creating an RE action record to represent the email if desired.
