    Address Processing with E-mails

I would love to hear if anyone has developed a good solution to "email address processing", similar to what Quick Letters can do for (mailing) address processing.

For example, if I want to send an email to everyone who has given me $100 or more in the past 12 months, and I want to include Individuals as well as Contacts for Organizations, it's not an easy process.  In fact, it's tough.  And if you wanted the ability to include a merge field for the email merge (i.e., first name, contact salutation), it's even more tricky.  And I don't really get to decide if a contact is also an individual, do I include/exclude them.

I ended up having to write a query, then from Export, export in seperate fields for the individuals and contact info (seperately), putting them into Access and writing queries to get the info out in a uniform fashion.  Email me if you want me to send you the process.  It's not too hard.

But in this age of e-mail appeals, newsletters, etc., I'm thinking "email address processing" should be something easier.

Again, think Quick Letters - but with the email field instead of the address field.  I'm pretty sure this is something that is a RE solution, and not "it can be solved in BBNC".

    I'm open to suggestions.
