Payroll Posting with contracts ending in one month, paid in next (split)

    Has anyone encountered this and have a solution?

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This is for Payroll 7.

    We have contracts that end 9/30/08. This year 9/29 & 9/30 fall into pay period ending 10/11. We need to have these two days posted in September when leave and fringe pools are allocated.

    Is there a way to do this in Payroll 7?

     Thank you for contacting Blackbaud Product support via Case Central. My name is William and I will be assisting you with your case. Your case number will be 8571102. You will not be able to post a single payment into two separate periods/dates. In order for those two days to post to a separate post date other then 10/11, they will need to be their own calculation and payment. This would require creating a one time calculation for those 2 days. the one time calculation, when paid, can have a post date of 09/30. If you are interested and creating the one time calculation, I have included a knowledgebase solution below to assist you with the process.
