After you purchase an optional module or additional user licenses, we send an email providing the unlock code to the contact listed on the agreement to purchase. If that email is misplaced or you were not the one to receive it, you can easily obtain a new unlock code using the new Unlock Code Generator on our website:
- Log into our website and click your name at the top right of any page to access your profile.
- Click Unlock Code Generator under Organization in the left navigation bar.
- Select the product you want to create an unlock code for and click Next.
- Select your product version from the drop-down menu, select your serial number, and click Next.
- Select what you would like to unlock and click Next.
- Follow the instructions to enter the unlock code.
If your database serial number is incorrect in the utility, just email your correct serial number, version, and unlock code request to unlockcodes@blackbaud.com. This information is also in Knowledgebase solution BB563048.
If you need to transfer or retrieve files, you now have the option of using Web-based Secure FTP (SFTP) on our website. For instructions, select Case Central from the Support menu, click FTP, and click I use Web-based Secure FTP (SFTP). Our other FTP options are still available on the FTP page.
Note: This application is limited to a zipped file size of 1000MB, so if your database is larger, we recommend using FTP software or Mozilla Firefox.
