We wanted to give you an update on our Knowledgebase replacement project to let you know we're making good progress and share some additional features:
We're incorporating the user guides in the Knowledgebase search! When you click the link to the guide, the guide will open to the page that contains the information that meets your search criteria.
When you search, highlighted excerpts of solutions that are applicable to your search results display, like in Google (not just the solution title, like today). This will make it easier for you to find the information you’re looking for quickly.
There will also be a feedback section at the bottom of every Knowledgebase solution. We'll ask for three pieces of information: did this answer your question, how satisfied are you, and how can we improve this information. We'll use your comments to improve the quality of Knowledgebase. You'll also be able to provide feedback about your search experience.
Next month, we hope to share preliminary screenshots with you.
As we get closer to finalizing our timeline, we'll be asking for volunteers to use a pre-release version of Knowledgebase and provide feedback to us about your experience. In the meantime, if you have any questions about our new Knowledgebase and the conversion process, please feel free to post a comment. Thanks!
