Will this time out feature also be made optional on BBNC for non-supervisor users? Honestly, the majority of my staff uses BBNC for emailing purposes and are constantly losing work becuase the server is not being called when they are crafting their email messages. Serious gnashing of teeth when they have to redo a message and they were actively working all the time.

Hi Laura! To answer your question, no, you won't be out of PCI compliance by disabling this feature for non-Supervisor users. The changes that we made to this feature underwent thorough auditing by our QSA partner, TrustWave. We made only the changes to the feature that still allowed Raiser's Edge to remain PA-DSS compliant.

Not sure if I consider this great news or not. ;) I have mixed feelings about the disable feature but I generally think it's a good idea. What I really need to know is if I disable the inactivity feature for non-supervisor users am I out of PCI compliance?

I am a self-proclaimed grammar nerd, so I like to think of attributes as "adjectives" that further describe the constituent and his/her relationship to the organization. I guess that fits right in with the Raiser's Edge 7 for Beginners description!

I sure wish there were more adjusting options available on stock gifts! Very rarly is the sold stock amount the thing I need to adjust - it's usually the fund that needs to be changed.

Sherry: Open the constituent record, click spouse, click More next to the address, then the Address menu option - make sure that the relationship record is sharing the address with the constituent record.

Sharon: You're right - you can do this directly from the constituent menu bar, as long as you are sharing the Preferred Address only.

Why are there 13 links to what appears to be the same thing? I really need to find more information on the 7.91 upgrade and PCI compliance, but how am I supposed to find it through this format?
