&lt;p&gt;They'll compete against each other until the acquisition goes through. After that I'm sure they will merge and eliminate redundant products and cross sell the heck out of us.&lt;/p&gt;

That seems a bit odd to me.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Why would Blackbaud compete against itself now? Wouldn't it be in the commpany's best interest to properly market the appropriate product to the right client. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As a client I want to know that my vendor is recommending the ebst tools for the job - not just trying to outdo itself.&lt;/p&gt;
