Nope, I have one that’s simple and fits – Technical Writer.
What does a technical writer do?
Well funny you should ask. I don’t want to make it easy on you by going into all the details. Suffice it to say I love technical communication, tools, and users. My job encourages me to love them to pieces.
And Blackbaud? I heard they are a giant evil company?
Hardly. We’re more like cute puppy dogs with superhero aspirations. We really do want to make the world a better place and helping Nonprofits is how we do it. I’ve never worked anywhere more friendly, inspiring, or fun. Plus, we’re encouraged on a daily basis to live philanthropy and not just provide software and services for it. How can you not love a workplace like that?
My chief complaint? Somehow the laws of nature do not apply to our office building. I work on the top floor where miraculously heat doesn’t rise. So if you somehow track me down, you’ll probably find me hunched over my laptop, typing away, in multiple layers of clothing, and maybe even a blanket. Brrr…
