Blackbaud Announces Early Bird Registration, Scholarship Fund and Call for Speakers for 2010 Conference for Nonprofits in Washington, D.C.

Blackbaud’s Conference for Nonprofits will provide nonprofit professionals with three days of specialized educational content and opportunities to network and interact with peers and nonprofit experts. The Conference will provide unprecedented networking and learning experiences with a wide variety of interactive sessions.
Early Registration Discount: Registration is now open at http://events.blackbaud.com. Conference attendees can save $100 off of regular registration rates if they register by May 30. The early bird rate is $750 for the first attendee and $675 for each additional attendee.
Scholarship Opportunities: Blackbaud will award scholarships to 10 nonprofit professionals that will include a complimentary registration to the Conference and supporting events including meals, local transportation, and evening events. Nonprofit professionals interested in applying for the scholarship should complete the following before June 15, 2010: submit a written application with complete contact information, the organization they work for, a summary of its mission statement, and how they would benefit from attending the Conference. Applications can be sent as Word documents or directly in the text of an email to conference@blackbaud.com with "General Scholarship Application" in the subject line.
Call for Speakers: Blackbaud’s Conference for Nonprofits provides an excellent platform for expert speakers to share their knowledge. Conference organizers are seeking speakers who can offer educational sessions related to topics that resonate with the nonprofit community. The deadline for speaker application submissions is June 1, 2010. Speakers can apply at http://events.blackbaud.com.
