To Screen or Not to Screen “When” is the Question

Many nonprofit professionals wonder if their organizations should perform prospect screening. The best plan of attack is to perform prospect screening only when it would be most beneficial and effective. But how do you determine that? In Target Analytics’ latest white paper, managing director, Lawrence Henze explores how to assess your nonprofit’s situation to discover how and when to apply prospect screening for maximized results.

Topics discussed in this white paper include:
• Prospect screening is no longer considered a luxury, but a key component of an effective and efficient fundraising program
• The timing of a screening in relation to capital campaigns has varying purposes
• Prospect screening provides results that can be like a virtual fundraising navigation system

So, when is the best time for your organization to conduct a prospect screening project? Download the free whitepaper to learn more.

Customize this Video to See Your Nonprofit's Wishes Come True

Everyone has the ubiquitous wishlist taped somewhere in their office or scrawled across a white board in a conference room. During these challenging times, that list has probably changed quite a bit. "New building" may have been replaced by "maintain current donor base" or "increase fundraising efficiency."

Towards the end of last year, I started asking nonprofit staffers a question... "What's on your nonprofit wishlist?" Not surprisingly, the number one answer was "more funding." Close seconds were "more supporters" and "more volunteers."

The theme here is clear: you need more attention and resources dedicated to your cause. It takes a lot for you to do what you do - and your mission can't wait until tomorrow.

So, what's on your nonprofit wishlist?

Please respond to this post with your wishes, and together we can make them come true.

Blackbaud's Survey on Internet Investment Open through April 17

Many nonprofits understand the importance of an online strategy but are unclear on how much to invest in online marketing and fundraising and what to expect in return. The results of this survey will help nonprofits better understand the critical question: What is the monetary value of being online?

To complete the survey you will need knowledge about your organization's investment in and income from online activities. The survey will take 5-15 minutes to finish, depending on your answers.

All completed responses will be entered into a drawing for one of three (3) $100 VISA gift cards and will receive a copy of the final report. Your responses will be kept confidential and will not be used for sales purposes. Take the survey here.
